El Paredón, a hidden gem on Guatemala’s Pacific coast, is a dream destination for surfers and free-spirited travelers. Known for its black sand beaches, epic waves, and laid-back atmosphere, this beach town offers the perfect backdrop for a romantic couple photoshoot.

During my time in El Paredón, I had the opportunity to capture a sunset engagement session with a fun and adventurous surfer couple. While they didn’t have their surfboards with them, their connection and playfulness made this session one of my all-time favorites. They ran along the shore, laughed endlessly, and embraced as the golden sun dipped below the horizon, reflecting beautifully on the black volcanic sand. The entire scene felt like something out of a dream—raw, intimate, and full of emotion.
