A longer story about my beginning ...

Describing yourself isn’t the easiest task, but it’s challenging enough to be fun. As I write this, I can already feel myself philosophizing. I love to talk, especially about life’s deeper meanings—how everything happens for a reason and for our greatest good. That’s my core belief.

I also believe the world would be a better place if people were encouraged to do what they love, rather than what others think they should love. I’ve been there. During my first year of studying economics, I was convinced it was the right path—until I convinced myself otherwise and decided to quit. Sometimes giving up is wise, because it can lead you to something even better. For me, that was photography.

My journey began in late 2008 when I found myself in southern Portugal, with scripts for economics in hand. In the end, those scripts stayed there, and I came back with a camera full of beautiful photos. That’s how it all started—photographing anything and everything that caught my eye, purely for my own joy. And I was happy. Even more so when I realized how much my photos made others happy.

People quickly became my inspiration!

I began with portraits and eventually ventured into fashion photography, thinking it was my dream. But once inside the fashion world, I realized it wasn’t what I wanted to specialize in.

I shared my photos on my blog and Facebook, creating a space for my work. I started doing street style photography, fashion, and portraits. My blog’s success led me to a part-time job with **INDEX.HR**, where I worked for four years, regularly contributing lifestyle photography. I became their official photographer, and soon after, **Cineplexx** and **Bipa** stores became my clients.

Amid all this, I attended my first wedding—this time as a guest with a camera. I captured moments for my cousin and her husband, documenting the day in a way that felt more fulfilling than fashion ever did.

Weddings gave me something unique: real emotions, spontaneous moments, hugs, glances, handshakes, tears, love, family. It was all so raw and alive. WOW. While shooting, I imagined what kind of photos I’d want from my own wedding—what I’d want to remember and cherish in an album. The answer? EVERYTHING. I wanted to remember the feelings, the emotions, the details, the guests… everything. And that’s how my journey into wedding photography began.

Actually, it wasn’t so much me finding weddings, but weddings finding me.

Couples reached out because they had seen my photos from their cousin’s wedding. Word of mouth spread, and nothing is more beautiful than that. When things flow naturally and effortlessly, you know you’re on the right path.

Today, I’m fortunate to work with such incredible people who often become friends. That, to me, is priceless. And they’re left with a treasure trove of wedding memories that will be cherished for generations to come. Since 2010, alongside weddings, I’ve photographed events, portraits, interiors, products, and travel. I also write travelogues, poems, and share my thoughts. While I’m known for weddings because I’ve focused on them the most, I’m always open to other inquiries.

Anything that radiates love and deserves to be captured and shared—I’m here for that, too.
